I was pining for spring when I created the Full Bloom Hair Clip. This flower hair accessory is all about luscious open blooms. I transformed secondhand ribbon and fabric into plentiful petals and threw in a little sparkle. Ranging from large to small, each one is made of repurposed materials and sewn securely to a new hair clip. Clip it onto a bobby pin for extra hold.
Full Bloom Hair Clip
Red Satin: In Act One, my petals were scraps of bright red satin from a seamstress's fabric stash. I also have an inherited rhinestone button at the center.
Robin's Egg Blue: My blue crepe came from a curtain, and my green chiffon came from a thrifted gown. I have an upcycled vintage earring at my center.
Bright Blue and Green: Along with my royal blue ribbon, I have green silk leaves on my petite bloom. The silk came from another seamstress's fabric stash.
